About Us

Chemistry Team is an academic club at the Hockaday School in Dallas, Texas. Any Upper School student at Hockaday is welcome to join Chemistry Team. Through the club, students can access limitless opportunities, such as competitions and guest lectures, to pursue their passions in chemistry and STEM. Through its social impact program, Chemistry Team hopes to extend its mission of making chemistry, and in general science, accessible and exciting to underserved communities in the DFW metroplex.

During each volunteer session, we focus on creating fun yet educational experiments for the kids. Our curriculums usually involve a hands-on component, followed by a short discussion about the chemical principles that drive the experiments.
